This project of Van der Valk Shipyard is based on our naval architecture and exterior design by Cor de Rover and Interior design by Carla Guilhem. This aluminium weekender combines a 40-knot top speed with the ability to make open ocean crossings in comfort and also have the possibility of explore shallow waters. This is possible with a draught of 0.92m.
The first Edge 65 nearing completion for the owners and the build of a second hull is already started.
Van der Valk: “ Every aspect of the yacht was optimised to benefit speed and reduce underwater friction. An inboard propulsion option is also available based on the tremendous amount of engineering and smart thinking that went into the launch model you see here.”
